Carter Kitchen And Bath

Objective

This is a Mary Plouffe Design remodel project. With an entertaining objective in mind we wanted to completely adjust the space and focal point of the existing kitchen. The goal was to brighten the space and visually open up the room to bring in the beauty and serenity of their lake and wildlife. The client was looking for warmth and elegance with generous amounts of countertop and storage to accommodate a family of five. Using the outdoors for their inspiration, the space needed to make room for playful touches of coastal charm like brass finishes and water-like movement within the tile. The overall effect, the heart of the home.

Features

This kitchen features a hood made of horizontal fillers applied to a drywall base. The curved, 2 step island features cylinder metal supports to lift the quartzite up. This gave a very open, modern but soft feel. There are organizers everywhere in these cabinets.
